There have been some leaked photos posted online on Apple.pro site which originally appeared on Weibo. According to the images, iPhone 4S looks very similar to current iPod (ipod touch firmware 3.1.3 download) touch 4G. Some reports suggested that Apple implemented the upgraded hardware on iPhone 4 itself to avoid any kind of leaks. It seems to be more as a prototype than a realistic version. iTunes detected it running on iOS 4.0 which left us in doubts that this could be an earlier protoype without a front facing camera.
Even if Apple would have been testing iPhone 4GS or iPhone 5 then they should have ported iOS 5 rather than iOS 4. Needless to say, next generation iPhone will be running on the upcoming iOS firmware. Another image counters the objection, shows a front facing camera and design is exactly a replica of iPhone 4. Due to the difficulty in translation, Macrumors have unable to get an idea of several claims. So, we can't say anything about an accuracy of these images.
Next generation iPhone is reported to be launched in September in a 'Music event'. Some speculations from different sources are depicting that iPhone 4S/5 would have a thinner bezel, revamped design, improved hardware and bigger display. What do you think about it?
